 1. The dotted line in the print screen does not show on my computer and does not print the center of the screen onto the paper.

2. I would like to print on large format paper (42-60" wide roll paper) so I can create a large wall size map.  I could tape together the printed maps side by side to create this effect.  I would then need to print each map 80-100 inches long.

  Re #1. Try "zooming out" on your browser before going to the print function. That was the only way I could see the entire print box and what was printed.

  To add to printing requests. Something like what caltopo offers would be wonderful, where you can place multiple "sheets" of a selected paper size and zoom resolution on a zoomed out map. So you would zoom out to see an overview of the whole area you want to generate a set of maps for, and have a set of rectangles corresponding to your chosen paper size and "zoom level" to arrange.
  
  An alternative would be the way this website prints maps http://jgn.superheros.fr/en/ - unfortunately when I try to use it, it generates glitchy pdfs (unsure if that's my computer processing power or the web app not being fully functional). It seems processing power heavy, so you could limit the number of maps you can do at once.
