Hi Gaia amigos,
Currently (spring 2018) on my iPhone, doing a long touch begins a route. I find this to be rather confusing. On my old Garmin handheld, doing a long touch added a waypoint. I think you should consider doing the same with your app, or maybe drop the long touch functionality entirely. It is useful to do a long touch and see the distance and bearing from my current location to that point, so perhaps just keep that function? Or make it so you can add a real waypoint when you do a long touch? Creating a route is something that most people I think do not do very often, so the functionality to do this should probably not be connected with long touching the screen.
