REQUEST: Track info on lock screen?

 would it be possible to add a feature to the android app that shows current  track info (distance, elevation gain and time, current trail name) on the lock screen?  It would be great to get that info at a glance without having to unlock the phone.

  When I use Gaia app, I turn off the lock screen. That is the only way I have found to do what you want. The Gaia app stays open. On my phone, I need to hit one button to turn the screen off to save power, and I must hit one button to turn the screen back on. That is easier than entering a passcode on the lock screen to unlock the phone.
