Selectable Units of Measure when Creating a Route

I use Create Route to measure distance between point A and point B on the map. Currently, short distances start out displaying in feet and then switches to hundredths of a mile as distances increase. I would like the ability to select the distance unit...ie feet or yards or meters or miles. I currently have to get my calculator out to convert from miles to yards and 1/100 of a mile is not very accurate when you like to see yards.

  Yards would also be a useful units option for the scale bar.

  For those of us who use Gaia to hunt in addition to hiking, a yards unit of measure out to one (1) mile would be very helpful. I don’t see any updates on this, are there any plans to do so? Thanks
