How to change from compass to course for arrow--not in my settings

 My settings don't include a heading for "compass" to be able to change the direction of the location arrow from course to compass. I need to have the directional location arrow change to reflect my direction of travel each time I turn when hiking.

  You could use Course up mode in lieu of that setting: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003638668
