    Hi there,

I'd suggest using the mobile app to add your waypoints. Press the + icon and 'add waypoint'. You can also select the coordinate format from the settings menu.

There isn't a way to do this on the website yet, but we've got an open internal feature request to add it.

You can center the web map on a specific location by adding decimal degrees coordinates in the URL. As an example, this link will center your location on Mount Rainier:

same request, I use Google Earth (GE) because of visibility on a large monitor (32" monitor), allows one to find special trails.  Dropping way-points on GE and then transferring with a simple COPY/PASTE would be a great asset for us to pick up the trail location in GAIA. GAIA maps are pretty good for finding small village names etc, but difficult to locate trails thru mountains.

although you can do it in the app, this would be great if it was a website feature
