Does to Google Play Store state the compatibility issue?

What version of Android is your tablet running?

After I downloaded Chrome I was able to do the download from Google Play.  Not sure what the problems was but I have been able to do the download and the App is working just fine.   Before I downloaded Chrome it just said this software is not compatible and did not display the app as an available option when I typed it in for search on Google Play.  I have it up a running fine now but not sure where the difficulty came from.

I uploaded GaiaGPS onto my Samsung Galaxy 3, Android version 4.4.2. I was able to upload Gaia and it seems to work fine, but kills my battery in an hour or 2.  I have all other applications closed and am on flight mode when I use Gaia. Is Gaia compatible with all cell phones? Are there certain ones it works better with/does not work with? Thanks!

Check out this article for more information of conserving your battery while using Gaia GPS: Conserve Battery Life.

The current version of Gaia GPS is compatible with Android v4.1 and higher devices and work best with devices that have a GPS Chip (necessary for finding your location offline) and a compass sensor (optional, but necessary to use the compass).
