Add waypoints to elevation graph
I spent the weekend adding the waypoints from Elizabeth Wenk's book for an upcoming JMT hike. One thing that would be greatly appreciated is if the waypoints could be added to the elevation profile. This would allow one to quickly identify the altitude vs the distance. For example campsite 1 might be at 10,500 ft while hiking another 1.5 miles to campsite 3 might be at 9,000 ft. Or a water icon in a valley is another 2 miles etc. Being able to zoom in or pan on an elevation / distance profile and, seeing it graphically, with icons would be awesome!

Or being able to skim your finger across an elevation profile and have a pointer simultaneously skim across your route and waypoints would be equally helpful! Of course the elevation profile would need to be located just above or below the route.

@stephensimpson53, it appears the feature you're talking about has been added (at least on gaiagps.com). However, the one @jpurdy is talking about has not. I would love to see the waypoints on the elevation profile as well as mile markers (if I have them toggled in settings).
