Add Quick Elevation Finder (not current elevation)

I'd like to see elevation as I scroll around on map. It's not easy finding on contour lines. Other apps show elevation on a stats line based on center point of screen.

  Nat Geo TOPO was doing this 20 years ago. would be nice to have it on modern maping programs

  Hi Gaia,

   

  Please implement this or something like it. It would be great to be able to tap on the map and get the information (including elevation) about that point. Right now you have to create a waypoint to see the info, then immediately delete the waypoint.

   

  Finding elevation is a top priority for working with a topo map, and on a tiny screen it can be hard to find the nearest place the elevation is actually recorded on a contour line.
