External keyboard support for Remotek bluetooth controller

I'd like to request external keyboard support for the Remotek bluetooth controller.  I use Gaia with my iphone for off-road motorcycling and would like to have the option to control the app via a handlebar mounted bluetooth controller.  For safety reasons, it's important to keep both hands on the handlebars when riding rather than trying to tap the screen with riding gloves to zoom in and out or recenter the map.  If this is not the correct venue for communicating feature requests, please point me in the right direction.
