Isolate on Map - ON Show only this track on the map
Hey, long time paid subscriber here, doing some routine work on the computer to review the bike ride (track) I recorded today. As usual, my view is a plethora of lines and colours because I have ridden so many different routes on the excellent local roads. Once again I wished I could just see today's route without all the others.
AND THE WISH CAME TRUE! This is the first time I noticed this display option
Isolate on Map - ON
Show only this track on the map
And it works great. I didn't have to go through and turn off 20 individual tracks, and/or go through and turn off 5 folders, and then when I'm done go back and turn them on again. Nope. Just hit this nifty control and all the others disappeared WITH JUST ONE CLICK. Then when I was done, I got all the others back WITH JUST ONE CLICK.
I did some searches here at Gaia on PC, and can't find any reference to the feature. No announcement, no description, no instructions. I am pleased to be the bearer of good news. check it out. Thanks Gaia team for implementing this.

Do you see this new option when you tap on an individual track in the saved folder? I use Android so perhaps this another ios only feature. On a PC, when you tap "Show on map" only the track I want to see is visible, but on Android gotta do a bunch of toggling.

I was writing relative to online website view on Windows PC. Yes, I first go to saved, then click the track I want.
Today I looked on my iOS phone and do NOT see an identical choice. But on the iPhone when looking at a saved track, if I tap the map (that's showing the track) I get 2 choices -
Show on Main Map will illustrate my track along with all the others. It's all a jumble, and the one I was looking at isn't even kept "on top". So, useless if you have a bunch of overlapping tracks.
The other selection, Expand Preview Map, will show only the desired track on the map. All the other things are off. So it's a similar feature to the PC, but different terms.
Is that helpful?

Yes thanks. Unfortunately for Android the choices are show on map or cancel. I recently convinced an ios using buddy to buy GAIA and helped him download maps for a couple CA desert parks. There was a little learning curve for me to first have to make an Area, then download the map defined by the area. On ios [as you know] for some or most parks just download the map. What else is Android missing? I'll stop complaining now.
