Default Activity

Since the last update I am being asked to select the activity every time I save a track. In the past  this did not occur and worked great for me as will always select the same thing. If it was a bug sorry you fixed it. Even more annoying is that you then include it in the title - something I always need to delete. and then type in my own info. At minimum all I need to show up that automatically is the day of the week. Make that the default. Or better yet provide an option to enter a default phrase of data the user can use and edit the individual track title when needed. So many clicks for so many useless things - not a good way to spend my time. Surely you have a developer that can figure this out. Thanks

  I agree with the rghdrt's comments.

  Originally was Date and Time (October 30, 2024 at 03:09 PM) which is all I need in most cases -- and I would never rename a track "Wednesday Evening Hiking" if I was going to change the name from the Date and Time.

  So essentially now I have to change the name of every single track back to the Date and Time or in a few cases to a specific title of my choosing.

  I agree, the default is always hiking. I'm not at all interested in hiking. I cant even find where to select my activity. I just want general maps particularly for off road motorcycles. Be able to search for towns, roads by name, National parks etc.

  Select your activity should be front and center, as Hiking is. Gaia seems to favor the hikers.
