issues sharing .gpx files by text
4 iphone users.
on the phone, I have many saved tracks from bike rides, as well as routes for proposed bike rides. I SHARE them with my buds by text. 1 person gets the file just fine, opens it, sends it to Gaia, just like Gaia instructions say.

2 people get an inactive file icon. clicking on it does nothing. no options to download, or save. It's just an appearance of a file. When I text them photos, no issues. Photos open fine.
This seems to be a phone issue more-so than a Gaia issue, since it doesn't even recognize that there's an attachment. So I'm hoping for some iPhone connosewers to pipe up.
In a recent development, we found that one person DOES receive the file if it's transferred by AirDrop rather than real texting. Why would that be?
Too bad I don't have many gps friends to test this with. Would be great to get more data points. I tried texting a file to another bud, and always get a "message failed to send" message. That's weird. I send him pics all the time, and texting is working great, but when I try the .gps file get that message. So, what's special about his account?
That's means I'm getting 3 different results when trying to text .gpx files.
any comments, even if it's just sympathy, are greatly appreciated.

I can’t send GPX file from app on iphone 15. App won’t manually nor automatically sync. Too much data and years leading and hiking - come on, Gaia gps! It’s a year’s old bug!
