Need an interface to manage/delete downloaded map layers
Problem: after years of using gaiagps, I have made multiple map downloads from the "Satellite with labels" layer. These downloads are various areas spanning a time of maybe 5 years. There are 2 probems caused by the lack of downloaded data management:
1. When I look at the layer list, "Satellite with labels" shows up multiple times. This clutters the list and makes it difficult to select the proper layer.
2. I keep filling up my iPhone with new maps and there is no way to clear the old data to make room. The only way to delete the downloaded data is to completely delete the app and its data, then reinstall. Certainly you can do better.
Requested solution: Give me a way to manage what layers have been downloaded. I should be able to see a list of downloaded layers, along with metadata (what folder it is in, when it was first downloaded, size on disk, etc.). I should be able to select items on this list and delete them from local storage.
For example:
Settings > Storage > Storage Use
I see a list that includes Maps - Gaia Topo (feet), Maps - World Imagery, and other layers I have downloaded. I should be able to click on these items and delete them. If I need them again, I can always download them again.
