Converting a route to a track
Hello everyone. I currently use the premium version of GaiaGPS with Back Country Roads to plan routes for back country dual sport rides and load them to my Garmin XT. My current process is the following. Create a route, save to my computer, open in Basecamp, convert from a route to a track then load VIA USB cable to my Garmin XT. I have to convert my routes to files because the amount of info loaded to my Garmin just locks it up and if it does go through there is literally thousands of what appears to be waypoints. Sometimes these tracks end up being impassable so I would like to be able to open Gaia on my phone and Bluetooth to my Garmin a new route that I have saved. GPS visualizer doesn't work without internet so really I need a Bluetooth option. Can conversion to track and loading via Bluetooth work with Garmin Explore, Garmin Drive, or something else?? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
