Android cold start takes an obnoxious amount of time now

Android cold start takes ~10 seconds on my galaxy s24, whereas it used to be nearly instant.  It effectively means the start of my activity is cut off as I'm not going to stand around waiting for the loading screen.

  I experience the same thing. In fact it never loaded because I was in an area with no cell phone reception so I could not access GiaGPS and my maps.

  All that because it now uses Outside for logging in.

  How do we disable logging to Outside and go back to just loading GaiaGPS?
