Visualizing Multiple Routes

It would be really helpful if there was way to show multiple routes, which share the same trail, as parallel lines. Maybe provide an option to offset routes 1-2 mm to left or right of the trail. This would help me more effectively communicate alternate routes with my friends and family. They would be able clearly identify the intended routes for multiple trips.
