I would like a speed widget on the map

I would find it useful to have a small speed display (like the compass) to show up somewhere on map. I am using Gaia when kayak fishing and find the below water contour lines useful for depth but I would like to know the speed that I am trolling / paddling without switching to the track page. I usually record the trip as a track so when I look back at the track I can tell where I caught fish by the pauses and drifts in the line. This would also be a useful feature when biking.
