Get a bearing for a line drawn on Gaia

I would like to draw a line on a map in the mobile app and have the app tell me the bearing of the line, eg: 250 metres at 61 degrees. I see several posts requesting this but no response from support. This is a simple feature and it's available on Avenza. I want to draw a line on a map, have the app tell me its bearing, and then set my compass to that bearing and go. Seems an essential navigation feature. Why is it missing?
