Folder sort
Apparently the staff at GAIA thinks folders should only be sorted by date originated. I have a 2018 that I use frequently but need to search for EVERY FREAKIN TIME. Not helpful

There is more than one route to access folders, which I can not understand nor explain, and the route determines which features are available.
For me, if I used the left side of the screen (windows pc access),
saved items
filter "folders"
and there at the top is a sorting function alpha, date, etc front to back or back to front.
In other parts of my life, if I want something end up near the beginning I put the numeral 1 or the letter A at the beginning of the name. That is assuming there is a sort function!

I would also like to be able to change the sorting method default on the web (desktop) version. Isn't that what cookies are for? I'd like to have the sorting method be persistent after it is changed. Sorting by reverse date is nice, but I'd like Title A to Z to be my default.

Yes it would be super helpful to define a default sort in preferences and also would like to see a sorting by last updated, then I could just update the folder name and have it appear first on the list.

Let me add my gripe. OK, wonderful, you can sort folders in the folder view. Hope about when you want to sign or change folders for everything else? The default (I assume) date sort means my oldest but most used folder sits at the bottom of the list. That’s a major PITA.

Yup, I finally just bit the bullet and created a new folder then move everything from the old folder to the new folder so it would be right on top. If we could set the default to Title = A-Z we could at least just rename the folders 1. this 2. that. 3. etc
