Map not tracking my locatoin
I'm sure this is a known problem but I can't seem to find the solution. Please help as I'm traveling to Mexico late next week (April 21 2024). The issue is... the location icon doesn't keepup with my actual location and therefore I can't tell when to turn. If I stop moving for 10 or 15 seconds then it catches up. This is a very anoying issue that may force me to change platforms. Thanks in advance for providing the solution.

Yep, this is a very annoying issue and it's been happening for months now. In addition to not accurately tracking your location, the track you're recording, if you're recording, is also filled with inaccuracies and becomes garbage. For example, every time I'm out cycling, the recorded track will snap to the nearest road and record that for a good while despite me being on a trail/path that's 30+ yards from the road. It's like the iOS app is no longer checking actual gps coordinates as frequently as it used to? Or instead of checking actual gps coordinates from the phone, the app now 'snaps' to what it thinks you're using (i.e. a nearby road rather than the trail you're on). Whatever the case, the map accuracy has become laughable.
