Feature Request: Make it so gaiagps.com isn't SO slow

I love Gaia GPS. It's fantastic. But does it have to be SO slow? It takes forever to see the list of Saved Items. And to make changes to them. I have tried multiple different browsers (macOS), accepting all cookies and just essential ones, turned content blockers on and off. Nothing works, it's just painfully slow these days. Before adding features, can you just make it work at a reasonable speed?

I tried out Caltopo and while the interface and map aren't great, it's super snappy. Can't we just get gaiagps.com to be snappy?

  People have been asking for this website to be sped up for years but GAIA and Outside haven't done anything about it.  They are obviously too cheap to rent or buy the servers required or to have a working load balancer.
