Logging back in requires resetting some preferences
For as long as I can remember, it seems as if every few weeks or so I get automatically logged out of my gaiagps.com account from my browser. (Maybe this is a security “feature”?) Once logged back in, the following happens:
All Folders that I have set to be hidden are back in view. I must re-hide the folders which I prefer to keep their contents hidden from the map view.
The map's Layers that I had painstakingly set to be active (with custom ordering, transparencies, etc.) are all deactivated. Only “Gaia Topo (feet)” is active. All of the other Layers have been deactivated. All of the Premium layers that I have added are no longer in the main list, which requires me to dig deep and individually re-add those map layers again (i.e., “Gaia Overland (feet)” and other frequently used layers are in the Add Map Layers sub-section).
And, of course, re-accepting the cookie preferences is always annoying.

It seems like logging out after a while is so we don't forget our passwords. This feature I can accept.
However, not being able to remember hidden folders is really a huge minus point, maybe when I press save it doesn't save to my account but saves heardle on cookies, hopefully they will be improved and changed to bring Best user experience -
It seems like every time I use a different device, it resets the saved layers of other devices - ie, out in the field using the android app on the tablet, I have to manually re-add and re-prioritize ALL of the layers, get it set to where I like it, and proceed with the day - I get home, pull up the webpage portal on PC, and now all of ~its~ layers are gone, and need to be re-activated. I don't think it's a time-based issue, for me at least, but more of an issue of not being able to properly retain the settings among multiple devices. Scanning through comments here, it appears this has been an issue for at least three YEARS now, so I guess I won't hold my breath on anyone actually fixing it - this is more of a post to affirm that "YES" this is happening, and "YES" it is absolutely annoying.

One possible solution might be to check if your browser’s cookies and session settings are causing the frequent logouts. Sometimes, clearing world of goo 2 cookies or having specific privacy settings might be triggering these logouts. Additionally, you could look into whether Gaia GPS has any updates or support resources that address these specific issues.
