Is there a way to store a "scene" in Gaia?

Can you explain what you mean by scene? My immediate thought was adding a photo to a waypoint but I am not sure that is what you mean.

This is what I wrote above: "Simply being able to go back to a location, with certain folders and layers visible would be a huge time saver."

Let me try another explanation. Let's use Gaia.com rather than the app. Consider two locations. For each, you carefully set up the Layers and Saved Items for each, and they are quite different from each other. And for each you set up exactly what's centered in the screen and the degree of zoom.

What I'm saying is that it would be nice once having made those careful settings to save them as a "scene". Then, simply choosing to recall that scene would automatically restore the settings. Everything would be exactly the same as when you left it.

If today, you optimize one location, move to another and optimize it, there's no way to quickly go back to the first location and its settings, and vice versa.

    Clearer?

Yes, that makes more sense. I haven’t run into that as a need and that’s why it was harder for me to understand. I recently started using the map packs beta which solves some but not all your concerns. Specifically, it allows the grouping of layers together. For example, for me I use more layers for planning a trip than while on a trip, so those can be different map packs. The folders and zoom are not something I have considered needing in combination with the layers but it’s an interesting thought.
