reverse route along a portion of route

I'm creating a route to a point then reversing along a segment of the route to another point.  Im not reversing the complete route but hiking back along a portion of that entire route.  how do i create that reverse segment route?  the Reverse button seems to want to create reverse along the entire route not only the portion that I want.

  I would also like to reverse part of a route as spw767 is asking. looks nobody from Gaia has responded.
