    I think this is the same data source I wanted to import in August of 2023. If I recall correctly, I downloaded the *.kmz (even though the website suggests the data will be *.kml it will download with a kmz suffix) data for the state I needed. I then imported that file into Gaia. If a state has more than 1,000 “items” (waypoints) you’ll need to split the file into pieces with less than 1,000 points each. To do that splitting you’ll need a means of editing the kmz file. You could try importing it into Google Earth Pro on a computer and then doing the subsampling there.
