start up location 2500 miles from where I hike and does not change

Has the problem been solved?  We moved from Alaska to Montana and at start up, the location is 2,500 miles from where I want to see.  Windows operating system.

  for a couple quinquennia, Gaia (Windows PC) would start up at the last location I worked on.  Makes sense to me.  But sometime in the past 4-8 weeks it decided to always start up at a small town 12 miles away.  I have saved tracks there, but not since April.  It's also zoomed in really close.  Can't even tell where it is till I zoom out.   

  Dunno what changed, but it was way better when it would start up where we left off.

  Why is there no answers to this question? Surely there is a setting somewhere.. This has been asked for years now.. Come on!!
