Easier waypoint entry needed

Please make it easier to enter waypoints in Gaia GPS. The Android Auto app is really simple - a red waypoint at the present location. Android GPS requires 8 steps to do the same thing:

1. Tap the arrow icon (in Android GPS it’s an open arrow - sometimes it's black, or half & half - that used to be 3D or 2D, now that's another button) Please change this to black crosshairs, near the scale bar like Gaia.com). This locates the user at the current location (If you forget to do this step, the waypoint is in the center of the screen and nowhere near where you are)

2. Tap the “+” icon

3. Tap the waypoint icon (note that it is in black/white and not contrasted with the 3 similar icons in vertical alignment)

4. The name_field is filled with “wpt” + date/time stamp (it was empty in older versions of Gaia GPS)

5. Tap and hold the delete key until the field is blank.

6. Enter the text in the name_field.

7. Tap the back arrow on the base of the phone to save (any text entry in the name_field brings up the keyboard which then obscures the save button)

8. Tap the green save button.

Please make it easier. I use Gaia in the field for professional work, and the multiple steps are frustrating and time-consuming.
