Iphone 11/GAIA GPS where is the default save folder?
Hi folks,
I was using the GAIA GPS app fine on my android but now have an iphone 11, along with a very recent GAIA app update I am not able to find where the default save area is for waypoints. When I create a new track and add waypoints as I go I was using just the default save area (where ever that is) when importing to google earth as a KML I only seen the track and no waypoints.
All below relates to trying to import into google earth as a kml file via email.
I have found that if I create a folder with say name of the new walk/track I can add way points but I am having to choose this folder every time I pick a way point which is time consuming and also easy to forget.
I would rather just use the default location but no idea where that is, or if I could create e new default folfer for all routes that would also work. On test routes I would choose add to a named folder and sometimes just the default, only the saved folder waypoints show up but the app knows the total number of waypoints. I did ensure the euye icon is shown and not crossed out.
On my previous android I never had to create and name any folders it just worked perfectly, is this an iphone thing or the latest GAIA update?
Advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
