Folder Stats missing for large folders

There seems to be a limit on folder stats. At first I thought the folder stat totals were removed but then I realized some of my smaller folders were still providing stats. Is this a known issue or limitation?

I would love to be able to get the stats for my larger folders. I do daily rides and would like to see the total distance for a years worth of riding. 

I am attaching a screenshot of a smaller folder showing the stats and a larger folder missing the stats. If there is any way to get the larger folder stats I would love to know how.
