Creating route or waypoint and default folder

Is there any way to set the folder as part of the waypoint or route creation process? Right now it seems as though I must create the waypoint/route, save it, then move it to a folder. Lots of extra mouse clicks.

  I got the same problem. Why would the software not know that the waypoint I'm saving wouldn't go in the same folder I saved the last waypoint in 10 minutes before? With all the great things that GAIA can do it doesn't seem the coding would be that hard to set and easily change a default folder.

  I agree, and also why is the most recent folder used hidden at the bottom of a long list of all previous folders, it would be logical if most recent folder was at the top.
