Several problems created with new Version 2023.8(6732) that worked with prior version (Android)
Using GAIAGPS on a Android Tablet there were new issues with the latest update to GAIAGPS that make it unusable. Can one revert to the prior version?
1) WAYPOINT PLACEMENT AT CURRENT LOCATION NOT WORKING: I cannot place a waypoint at "current location." When I selected the waypoint icon, the waypoint was miles from my current location. This feature worked flawlessly on the previous version. In fact, it asked if I wanted to place it at the "current location", this new version does not.
2) GAIAGPS LOCKS UP: Every few minutes, GAIAGPS will lock up with a message asking to close GAIAGPS. This made GAIAGPS unusable. This never happened even once with the prior GaiaGPS version. The tablet is a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
3) COMPASS DISAPPEARS: The compass will display for a few seconds and then dissapear
Is it possible to revert to the prior version of GAIAGPS for Android?

I would like to know how to revert to a previous version as well. I will send in a note to Support.

I've also noticed that the option to create a waypoint at your current location disappeared. I think a workaround is to click the icon that centers your location and then create a waypoint.

I’ve had trouble recording tracks ever since I updated with new version. Very frustrating. I would like to go back to the earlier version. Makes me wonder why I am paying for Premium if it does not work!
