No full screen button in this new Android version?
Haven't used the app in a couple months, just opened it up to find a new version. I can't find the full screen button anywhere, and I don't see any full screen options in settings. You guys didn't remove full screen did you? Also in landscape mode the status bar takes up 1/3rd of the screen. I know you can turn it off all together, but I need elevation and speed. Why can't you just pick the stats you want shown like you could in the old version? So the stats bar on the top and the navigation bar on the bottom (lack of full screen), those now take up 2/3rds of the screen in landscape mode, which makes the app useless to me.

Some other folks are talking about this as well. Big issue for some when using Gaia on a motorcycle in landscape. I contacted support and got a pretty good response. I hope they do something to fix it. Please contact support as well.
Contacted Gaia Support, and it went like this. I edited out some of the fluff (hello, thank you, sorry, etc.) I hope they help us.

Gaia: Unfortunately, the full-screen mode has been removed. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I have forwarded your feedback to our Product Team for review and consideration in future updates.
Me: The removal of the full screen function has made the app pretty much unusable on a motorcycle. I will likely be canceling my premium subscription
Gaia: I understand your frustration and disappointment regarding the changes to the full-screen feature. Your feedback is valuable to us, and I want to assure you that your input has been submitted to our Product team for review
Me: Hi Christian, I should have mentioned that I have to use my mobile phone in landscape orientation on the motorcycle. In portrait not having full screen isn't too bad. But in landscape, the big bar across the screen hides a huge portion of the map display
