Unable to download high-resolution maps

1. When I choose a (small or large) area to download a map, and set the resolution to High, it still offers Gaia Topo (feet) with Zoom 3-12, which is actually low resolution as far as I can tell. How do I download high-resolution Gaia Topo maps?

2. I am able to download other maps (e.g., Satellite or USGS Topo) in high resolution for small areas, although it is quite annoying that I can't do that for a bigger area. Let me know if there is a setting I am missing.
