A better way to contact the author of a public track

Right now the only way I'm aware of to get in touch with the author of a public track is to open the track details on gaiagps.com and post a comment either making my email or phone number public, or asking the author to do the same. This isn't ideal. It would really be awesome if there was an internal message feature. It would go a long way to strengthening the community that uses Gaia.

  I can definitely see how it would be helpful to be able to message other users directly to inquire about public tracks.
  
  We don't have plans for anything like this at the moment, but I'll create an internal request for this to keep track.

  100% agree. Hiker/climber community websites have this feature--doesn't seem to be hard to implement and is hugely preferable to making one's one contact info public.
