Do saved maps automatically update?
With the continued updating of Gaia Topo and other maps, will the saved maps automatically reflect these new changes/additions or do I have to resave all of the maps to have the new features?

So, what does it mean when my saved map folder shows green fields labeled Update available for **map layer**, followed by a circle with an X and a circle with a check mark?
I tapped one of check marks and both circles disappeared and a static circular arrow appeared, but nothing else seems to happen.

Thanks for using Gaia GPS.
Saved maps do not automatically update, sorry about that.
Here are the steps for updating your downloaded maps.
1. From the app, remove the map source you want to update.
iOS: Layers menu > Add map layers (at bottom) > **Category___** > **Map Source___** > X Remove.
Android: Layers menu > Add map layers > **Category___** > **Map Source___** > Toggle off.
This will remove any downloaded maps with this source from your device, but they will be archived on the website. You will need to unarchive them (step 3 below), but you won't need to go through the process of selecting a download area again.
2. In the Gaia GPS app, tap Settings>Storage>Clear Cache.
3. Head to the website and unarchive the maps deleted from your device: Archiving, Unarchiving, and Recovering Lost Data
4. Sync your device by tapping Settings > Account > Last Sync. You will see a spinning icon. Once the sync is finished, it will display the current time.If you have any further questions, please contact Support here.
