Maps not downloading

 I have downloaded maps to my Samsung tablet for over a year without problems. For the last few weeks with different internet connections, I have downloaded Satellite with Labels to Zoom 17. The arrow flashes for about an hour and the map is shown in the saved column, but it says 0 tiles downloaded. Thanks for your help.

  Sorry for the trouble.  This sounds like it is related to a bug that stall downloads for certain sources when you switch to another app.
  
  I have an open bug report for this issue and we’re continuing to track it in our system, but unfortunately, don’t have an ETA on when you can expect a fix.
  
  This issue is caused by backgrounding the app during a download. Until the bug is fixed, I recommend leaving the app in the foreground (don't switch to another app) during a download. For a longer download, plug in your phone and change any display settings that will turn your screen off and background the app.
  
  If you need to resume a download, follow these steps:

  • Pause and Resume Offline Map Downloads on Android

  
  In some cases the map may not fully download for offline use, so please make sure the map is fully downloaded:

  • Verify Map is Downloaded and Available Offline on Android
