Gaia Topo zoom levels

I’m using an android phone. I see that the zoom levels for Gaia Topo maps is 0-18. But the highest zoom level it would allow me to download is 12. Why can’t I download level 18? This was the only layer I was trying to download. Thanks!

  Hi there,
  
  The new version of Gaia Topo is a vector map. This means it's made of multiple layer types for each tile. The Max download zoom is set to 12 and shows a resolution of 1:192k but all data is included in this zoom level. This means you aren't actually losing any resolution at this zoom compared to the previous max zoom with the original Gaia Topo layer. You should be able to download other map sources to higher zoom levels.
  
  As a test, you can download a map in the area you are looking for, put your phone in airplane mode, and zoom in closer than level 12.
