Ability to add POI by clicking on known locations on the map

When you search for a location, such as a ranger station, coffee shop, or visitor center the results on the map have a little plus icon next to them on the map to add it as a POI/waypoint, this is excellent.

However, when just browsing a the map and clicking on one of these locations without searching does not give you the ability to add the POI. I often find myself exploring an area before traveling and marking things such as coffee and bike shops. With the current implementation when I find a shop on the map I then have to search for the same shop to add it as a POI.

It's small but it's the type of usability refinement I feel is really lacking in gaiagps currently.

  I can definitely see how it would be helpful to save POIs on the map more easily.
  
  We don't have plans for anything like this at the moment, but I do have an open request for this feature and I've added your vote.
