Option to display sunrise/sunset times in 12-hour rather than 24-hour clock
Not plannedCurrently the sunrise/sunset times are shown in a 24-hour clock format, like 18:18 for 6:18pm. I’d like Gaia to have an option to display those times in a 12-hour clock format, like 6:18pm. I think this option could be under Settings > Units > Time format.
Why? I’m just more used to a 12-hour clock format and math is hard.
I do understand that the 24-hour format fits better in the limited space available for the Sunrise/Sunset box. If necessary, the am and pm could be shortened to “a” and “p”.
Implementing this for languages/locales other than American English might be challenging. However, some research suggests that 12-hour usage is most common in the USA, so people in other countries may be happy to leave it at 24-hour format, which I agree seems like a reasonable default. If you wanted to get fancy, the Gaia option could include a choice to use the system default (iOS Settings > General > Date & Time > 24-Hour Time).
I’m not sure if there are other places in Gaia that display the time, but the option should apply to those also if they exist.

Hi there,
I can definitely see how it would be helpful to view the sunrise/sunset times in a 12-hour format.
We don't have plans for anything like this at the moment, but I do have an open request for this feature and I've added your vote.
Thanks for suggesting this. We will update here if this feature becomes available. -
This would be a useful feature for folks in the U.S.

Please reconsider having a 12-hour clock option. This seems very basic and many of us would benefit from this.
