Current Position Arrowhead not working correctly

    Hey there, 

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with the location arrow displaying properly on the map. 

    Please contact Support here with some additional information so we can take a closer look.

    • Does this happen only while recording a track? 
    • Does this issue present itself only during certain activities, such as driving? 
    • Please include screenshots or a screen recording of the arrow location during a track recording. 
    • Please also include your device logs so we can take a closer look: open Gaia GPS > Settings > Other > Send Logs.

    Thanks Ryan, I'll make a screen recording.  I've sent Logs via Email.
    Yes, I think it only happens when making a Track, but that's usually the only time I use Gaia on my phone.  I'll check at other times.

    I filed a complaint about something similar and was simply told to turn off all other apps on my phone when possible. It did help some but was still laggy when driving at speed

    It automatically righted itself after a couple of days and I haven't had the problem since.
    No idea why it happened, sorry.
