Custom map sources - display resolution too coarse

I have not used the web maps on GaiaGPS.com for a while, only mobile maps, but I have noticed now that all basemaps originating from custom map sources that I have created display at a really coarse resolution on the web maps. This was not the case previously, and it is not the case currently when using the mobile app.

The only way to make the map look reasonable in a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) is to set the zoom level of the browser at about 50%, but then the map controls and any routes or waypoints appearing on the map are too small to visualize. So this is not a workable solution.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? Can anyone suggest a fix?
