Option to move controls to the bottom

Can we have an option to move controls and (optionally) stats bar to the bottom of the screen please? Phones are quite large this days, and pressing the Layers button single handedly is quite difficult. Would be much easier should this button (and others) be at the bottom of the screen Don't care that much about stats bar since in most cases we use it to view only.
