Temperature Map Overlay

Hello,

Is there a way to add a temperature map. I see there are a couple for precipitation, I would love a similar map for current temperatures or forecasted. I live in Florida and I like to try and escape the heat on the weekends.

  We TOTALLY need a temperature map. As that's a huge part of planning where we all go adventuring. You guys have so much, like shade, slope maps, air quality, cell coverage....temperature sounds like it would complete the offering.

  Here's another strong vote for temp today and forecasted temps.

  I would agree very much that a temperature map overlay would be important for fall and winter planning adventures.  I'm not a programmer but if you use NOAA for precipitation overlays I would imagine it's the same process to use NOAA for temperature overlay.  Thanks.

  I would also like this feature. But instead of requesting additional overlays one at a time, is there a way to improve the import functionality like we can do with TMS to support more map protocols?
  
  E.g. I want to import the new T-mobile 5G coverage map, and the FCC's new standardized LTE coverage map, and a temperature forecast map. These will all help me plan where to camp.

  It would be awesome if it were easier to self-serve these, or to open-source the importing rather than responding to 1-off overlay requests whackamole style, cuz no product manager wants to deal with that mess.

  This would be a great addition. I’m riding on a motorcycle trip through the backroads of nevada right now and the temperature can swing from 100 to 50 in just a few hours. It would really help for planning campsites and everything to be about to pull up a layer that showed the highs and lows

  I'd like a temp overlay as well.. Having to go between Open Summit and Gaia to find where to go riding sucks.

  Just adding to the chorus here. A temp map is paramount in both summer and winter months. Would help us avoid freezing temps right now! Thanks!

  Echo here.  Adventure motorcyclist trying to plan out possible camp / refuge spots while riding up California / Nevada in the middle of August.  Tall order, but a quick overlay would be amazingly helpful.  Thank you!  And thanks for the world's best map source!
