Mapping Project... is GAIA the right app?
AnsweredOver the past few years we've decided to open up our family property to outside guest via a few Tentrr sites. It's been extremely rewarding in both meeting new people and sharing our property. Last season alone we welcomed 500+ groups between April and November. As we thought about improvements over the winter, a major item is our trails. We have about 10 miles of trails on our property, some of which leak onto surrounding state parks. We're currently working on trimming them and a better marking system but we'd really like to upgrade our maps, which are currently legal sized laminated sheets of paper. I began playing with the GAIA app as well as a few others and liked it. My question here though is, if I continue to walk our property in order to add the trails, points of interest, pictures and property lines - can this be easily shared with our guests in a way a very casual hiker/camper could use? It'd be really wonderful if I could name the trails on the app and let them see pictures as they walk as well as allow them to see exactly where they are via GPS... Is that achievable with GAIA if I spend the time to add the data? Thanks all. I look forward to any feedback out there.

Hi @lcdietrich,
Yes, you can accomplish this by filing all your tracks and waypoints into a folder and sharing that folder with your guests. Here's how:
Your guests would need to download Gaia GPS to access the information on their devices.
