There is another post of the same topic but it's 2 years old. 

firefox 84.0.2 (64-bit) Linux Mint.

5.4.0-60-generic #67-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jan 5 18:31:36 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

it worked yesterday. today it does not.

  Sorry for the trouble.
  
  This message is displayed when MapBox GL, the mapping engine we use, does not work with the combination of hardware and software you have.

  It is possible that updating your browser or switching to a new browser can help when you see this message.  In some cases, clearing your browser cache and restarting the browser may help.  We've also seen one case where this error was caused by other programs using a lot of RAM - try closing everything else on your computer and see if that helps.
  
  If you'd like to test which browsers are supported on your own, you can visit this page with them:
  
  http://mapbox.github.io/mapbox-gl-supported/
  
  If you see the message 'MAPBOX GL JS IS SUPPORTED', then you should be able to use the Gaia GPS website in that browser.
  
  You can still view all the maps in the app without any issue.

  I'm having the same problem.  Using the computer and browser (Chrome) that worked just fine a few days ago.  Getting that message now.  "Sorry! Your computer cannot display this map"

  Cleared the cache and rebooted and it's working now.
