BUG: Distance is no longer reported during route creation

The total distance is no longer shown during the creation of a route on the gaiagps.com website. It always was shown until quite recently, so this is a new bug.  Now, only "--" is displayed until the route is saved.

This is a very serious (and recently introduced) bug since it makes GaiaGPS.com useless for interactively planning a route. One needs to see cumulative distance during route creation, in order to make decisions that keep the route the right length for participants.

  I have been having the same problem for several days. I just sent a help request. Does gaia check these pages?

  We have fixed the issue with route stats not being shown until after saving.
