Gap in Gaia but not in OSM
Question:
I use Gaia GPS to map my runs and there is a path that I run multiple times a week that has a small gap at the intersection of two paths. And when I try to create a route through that section it doesn't connect, it has to reroute miles away around that gap.

I have been ignoring this problem and just adding a straight line across the gap to create my routes, but I have done this enough times that I would like to contribute to the map and fix the route.
I read the Troubleshooting page on how to edit the map and it says that the map data for Gaia is pulled from OSM and that you need to contribute to OSM to make changes to the Gaia map. To that end, I went on OSM and tried to edit the spot. However, on OSM, there is no gap. OSM can correctly create a route across this intersection.

I'm not sure where to go from here. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this?

Glaring problem with Gaia GPS. It's my preferred navigation tool for various reasons but I frequently see examples of missing trails and gaps. It's a problem they should not ignore. The user should have the ability at a minimum to create a route over an imported GPX route or track. Am I missing something?
