removing prior path from map
When I open the Gaia app (iPhone), the map shows my prior path. How can I get back to a blank map (remove my prior hike in this same locationfrom the map)?

I appreciate the reply, but that actually doesn't help. I can turn off "tracks" but that removes both the trail AND the specific route that I told one day from the map. I only want to remove the path that I actually took, leaving the map of the trail.
I turned off everything else available in the Maps Overlay menu except tracks - and the map still includes both the trail and my saved paths. So, turning off tracks was the only option left, and it removed both items.

I'm not an apple fan and have no way of reproducing this I'm just a user it may help if you posted a screenshot of before and after.
the base map what the trail is on should not change when you remove tracks unless you are using a map base that does not include that trail .
there are many bugs in this application it's possible this is one of them
you could put in a bug report with pictures and a detailed explanation from my experience they usually get back to you on this.
Really wish they had a page of known issues it would really save a lot of frustration for all the users
