Are maps downloaded from Gaia copyrighted?

I'm curious if I were to use two maps I downloaded from Gaia in a piece of writing I'm working on (and might publish at a later date), if I would face issues because of the Gaia watermark/any other copyright infringement reasons. Any answers for this? Thanks.
